Hi
Link line and CPC at the CU gives you R1 and R2 how do you get RN is there and easy way.

Thanks

Mark

When you measure R1+R2, you also measure R1+RN. just cross connect line and neutral.

What's up with the KT61?

Hi
Done insulation test result OL from the manual KEWTECH if the reading measured greater than 200 ohms the over range reading OL will be displayed how can i put down this reading.

Thanks

Mark

>200MΩ

I use the KT35 and that can go up to 2000MΩ. When the meter reaches beyond the figure it is set to it will read 1.

Yup, page 16 of the manual...."If the reading measured greater than 200MΩ the over range
reading ‘OL’ will be displayed.". Hence, as Jason says, ">200"

I can think of a better reason not to buy one....it only tests at 500v for IR.

The sockets are on a ring also

You still havent read the pdf i sent you then

When you cross connect the L-N conductors at the board the reading you will get from all the sockets on the ring will be R1+RN, and the readings will be higher for spurs

EDIT... Oops! I see Widdler has already said that
