hi everyone!!!!!

hi everyone...... hope everyone's good????? i just got back from an extremely hard day so am glad to be home now checking out forums!!!!!:):):):):)

Jason,
I've built quite a few myself and normally have the spec written on the back of a smoke packet! Find out what the system is meant to do and the equipment that the panel supplies/controls. I'm more than willing to help you with this and if given the info, will supply drawings using autocad. A good tip is to get your panel gear from Home - Cablecraft - Cable Identification and Cabling Accessories which I have found is the cheapest and the best. Any switchgear or controlgear should be sourced from Farnell / Electronic Component Distributors / Suppliers / Electronics, Electrical Parts, Electrical Components and Wholesale Electronics. which again, are far cheaper than RS. Regards, Dan.

Hi Andy,

Thanks very much for the kind offer!

I may well take you up on that.

I have yet to go and see the job as it is some way away from me.

Hopefully going to get up there in a couple of weeks to get an idea.

Not entirely sure on finer details but it may involve a variable speed pump and drive along with tank float switch, rain switch, programmer etc.

Cheers
J

Jason, you don't say where your based.

It sounds interesting. Do you have a rough idea as to the size and number of pumps, control valves etc.

From past experience you may have to add a fair bit to the design, I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve had to have valves added to a system to cope with silly things like priming
