I had to split a ring the other day (no pun intended!) But i was wondering after they have been split and made into 2 radials. Can they be put on 1 CB either 16/20Amp if you know they wont be pulling much load??

I had to split the ring because a socket was in the way of the extension they were building with a large 3 metre door way in the way, concrete floor so i traced each cable and cut them out both sides so hence it is now 2 radials... just wanted to know if it was safe to put on 1 breaker as room is limited in the new consumer unit...
No, they are hi tough cables in flooring which was screened. There is only a couple of sockets on each side so its not a big deal. Besides, makes it quicker when testing! When u know where the end is that is
