Proud to say I have never set foot in a B & M

.quite how anyone couldn’t live without tat is beyond me

Up market poundland ..
A bit like the sheds 20 pound bog seat --still missing fitting kit
(compatible with what I already had /cracked and of emotional value)
....If I let my daughter in there she easily comes out with 30 pounds EXTRA spent on shiny tat ---

Attended and nagged --it's a bargain shop -compared to ASDA /J Sainsb
50 becomes 25 Their breakfast cereals have shot past 3 pounds recently.
(did it take a while to get the Sugar tax email)

When did the convo about BLM turn into an advert for B&M?

I’m back from my little road trip up to aviemore... face coverings when needed...

Just interested to know what people think of this 5 day relaxation over Christmas.
I see the reasoning.... getting families together for one time of the year when it’s supposed to be all about family.

But it’s pointless, and is going to send the infection rates sky high again.

it’s like, as soon as there’s a whiff of a vaccine, let’s all just go back to normal.

One of my daughters came home from school and asked what about people that don’t celebrate Christmas? Can they take a different 5 days for their own celebrations?

on the bright side. no contact with family members that you can't stand, no screaming kids upsetting your after dinner intake of booze and a sleep, low volume of traffic on the roads, so you can get to a job quickly. what's the downside?

Boris is in a totally no-win situation... if he continues the lockdown (which isn't really a lockdown at all) he'll be slagged off by half the country for not allowing us to have a Christmas... and if he lifts the lockdown, he'll be slagged off by the other half of the country who believe all the nonsense statistics !
