Correct Electrical Installation Instructions and Regulations

Hi All,

I have got hold of DWH Constrcution notes and noticed so many things wrong however this is another electrical question. There notes state lights MUST NOT be in the shower cubicle however we have lights in every shower.

Is this a safety issue?

Nope, as long as the luminaire has the correct IP rating. There are various guides on the Internet, in brief (typing via iPhone). IPX4 within zone 1, IPX5 where water jets may be. Most luminaries manufactured for use in shower cubicles would or should IMO be IP65.
