Current carrying capacity of 2.5mm flexible cable

Hi Guys if anyone has a regs book to hand please can you give me the current carrying capacity of 2.5mm flexible cable clipped direct, single phase.
 
When i next go to Spain i'm buying loads of it. They can run cookers, showers and heavy plant on their bit of 1.5 flex,

bet when i go to use it though it will suddenly change back cheese string.

I have often wondered what the actual engineering tolerances / derate is for a lot of cable;
I mean - Mr Pirelli puts a bit of 2.5 on the test bench and waits until it melts, for arguments sake let's say 200A. So he then derates by a margin of 5:1 and says here's a cable I've made, will be guaranteed at 40A. The IET say, oh look, here's a cable with a maximum rating of 40A, so let's derate it by 2:1 just to be sure. Here you go, boy's, have a look at this cable that won't melt until 20A............
