I agree, Jalfrezi isn't normally hot but this one was too hot even for me! I had a bite of his chicken and it made my lips tingle. It was from the Mohal Moti I think it's called in Dunston, as we were feeling too lazy to cook. Normally we go to Ocean Road in Shields as there are some gorgeous Balti's to be had, and not far to roll home afterwards. Indigo in Ocean road is wonderful and the staff are very attentive.

We had a stonking curry on Thursday night, Geordie's was very hot (Chicken Jalfrezi) and in view of his poor health this past few months, we are hoping he's on the mend and are off on a Magical Mystery Tour after the promised hurricane has passed........... we will be indulging in more. :26::54:arty::17:

Aye well all the best to him,and you,I had major problems with my gut a couple of years back,no alcohol for 6 months,no spicy food and the weight dropped off,then they advised me to drink guiness and I put plenty back on.I can eat spicy now but only every so often.All the best Geordie you grumpy old git,long may you continue to grumble.

I would recommend a chicken chilli masala,when its been on any menu ive had it and let me tell you it does cleanse the body a treat the next day! The hottest curry ive ever had was from a wetherspoons it was a madras but had so muh chilli powder in it that it literally ripped the taste buds and lips off,couldnt eat it,just got langered instead.

Had my first curry tonight in quite a while, I like them hot but this didn't even make my head leak which was rather disappointing although still not looking forward to it reappearing tomorrow so have put the loo roll in the fridge ready.

Well I am farting like a frenchman today but all in all I am not having the insides ripped out, the Onion bajes were the best I have ever had.
