So by that "logic" pies will be off your menu as will chicken soup, any sort of stew not prepared by you or your family, sausages and any other sort of food which you can't tell exactly what it is by looking at it

You know why they put curry on food of course as the meat went off quickly and your post is stupid in the excess again chicken soup is not covered in curry to hide it's true taste is it , neither are pies

Yes, curry was invented to mask the taste of rancid meant. We all know that but as usual the meaning of my post went right over your head so I''l try to explain.
Pies are covered in pastry so there could be anything in there, if you break the crust there's usually a smothering of gravy so how do you know the meat is what it's supposed to be? Chicken soup is smothered in a sauce also so the same things apply to that. Sausages, how can you possibly tell what has gone into a sausage?
All you had to do was think about it and you'd have figured out which was the excessively stupid post.

gawd, all this talk about what's in it. if you wake up the next morning, it's OK. and now you've made me hungry again. where's that bloody dog?

I agree - unless you've farmed the meat and grown the vegetables yourself you never really knows what goes in your food, but is that really a problem? Can people not just have a bit of blind faith in that their butcher, greengrocer or supermarket is not trying to poison them in some nefarious plan to take over the world?

I admit to having eaten doner kebabs within a period spanning back several years and I don't think it's affected me at all, despite having very little idea as to what went into them.

Some bird I used to work with would only drink bottled water because she thought the government were adding things to the water to control everyone....
I put that down to the weed she smoked.
