After all the negative threads, this ones brought a tear to my eye. All you manly electricians huddled around a computer helping a fellow spark get his boy to sleep. :daisy:

yup we have all been there, I am at the being abused verbally stage now and I can't win stage, teenage girls who know it all LOL wouldn't be the same without them.

A few usual ones.. Needs changing? Needs feeding? Teething? Too many clothes and feeling hot? Not enough clothes and feeling cold? Uncomfortable clothes? Uncomfortale position?
I'm out!

My boy used to get bad wind..... definitely his mothers son......but as Trev said, over the shoulder for 10 mins and wonder around a bit, the natural 'bumping' as you walk will ease the wind up and he will burp it out. Soon as the wind dissipates, he'll be right as rain mate.

If it is teeth, all the usual suspects apply, but sore teeth can lead to really sore ears, and that often upsets kids a lot due to the acute pain. Look up ear ache remedies when you get five mins, might be of some use too.

But 9 months is definitely prime teething territory. My lad is 3 in March. 3 going on 13. Smartest little boy i have ever come across, makes life pretty difficult when he has anargument (usually a pretty good one) for everything.

Anybody know how to get 9 month old to sleep? Has taken nearly two hours :( just screaming

Have you got any old DVD's of Sunderland playing?
That should work:)

Seriously though.........let them cry themselves to sleep and stop fussing with them......always worked for my 3 :)

if it happens again try bonjela just paste it over his gums with your finger and do the usual change nappy and give him a bottle also what works with my little girl is let her snuggle in something that smells of the mothers smell like a jumper (sounds strange) but worked with my lad whos 2 and a half and it works with my little girl who is now 10 months old
