Danfoss programmable stat replacement

I am trying to find a replacement programmable thermostat to retrofit onto an existing installation, as the existing one has got a blank screen. Batteries have been replaced and various buttons/reset has been tried to no avail.

The original one is now obsolete. Can anyone recommend one that may be suitable?
The supply to the controller is 24 volt when measured between terminals 1 and 2 there is also a remote sensor installed.
Don’t really want to start messing about with the wiring, if I can help it as there are more of the same controllers in the same installation, serving other rooms.

Looks like a single channel switch will do, just on off for theboiler. Suggest Danfoss TPone and RX1 receiver (screwfix do them) Get the RF version so no wiring. I am not sure if you have that already. If you have, sure the batteries aint dead? Or if mains supplied then is there a supply?

The TPOne-B is a direct replacement for what you have.
The terminals 1 and 2 are the relay contacts for 'heat'. The 24V you measured between them is not a supply voltage (the unit is battery powered), but an artifact of what's on the other end of that circuit.

I feel you don't really need the rf version as the wires are already there and have been doing the job for the last 10+ years!

That seems to make a bit more sense. There are various relays and valves at the other end, as you say. You didn’t install it by any chance did you?

No. If only! I've just dealt with a few different thermostats and programmers since my first in about 1970
