outside run in conduit is our fave, colored to match existing drainpipes etc

Our preferred choice also. It ticks all the boxes: neat, avoids RCD issues, cheap, quick, doesn't affect internal decor.

I hate domestic jobs my pride always insists we hide the wire, so carpets come up, plaster come down and i spend a week re-decorating their entire house.

How are you avoiding RCD issues if you're burying the cables?

HI, Ive got an install next week, i was wondering how are you all getting on with commissioning the array if its gone 4pm and the suns disappeared?

I wont really have time to go back in the day as they are in different areas. Any advice much appreciated.


Also do you all clip direct your dc cables to the joists all the way to the inverter or put in containment? All very new to me and i really want to get it all right.

We are racing along to get panels mounted before the sun drops. Normally we manage it.

However, distributors and their deliveries are about as organised as a chimps' chess tournament and they normally buggers us up.

only if you have UV ones and a good set of goggles, you could try taking the missus' sunbed up the scaffold!!

u can use my old sunlamp!!! if u cant get a reading dont worry it will clear up ur spots EVERYTIME
