Ive got a used Makita BHR200 24v SDS+in my garage, its been sat collecting dust for a fair while tbh, Id have to dig it out and see how the batts charge.

only in Liverpool, so feel free to take a look

Ive been using a 18v milwaukee on and off now for a year. Its been in the repair shop more than its been on site. The customer service is something else. They just hang up half way through your call. Dont touch them.

Don't worry I've got that drill and impact... Not a single prob with mine.
I've the 18v sds on the way too

I was going to get it brought over from the USA but this with the extra batt 3 ... Seemed a good deal so ordered

thats the problem with NiCad they lose charge when not in use, lithium ion and nickel metal hydride dont suffer this problem, however they are dearer the production of NiCad batteries has now been outlawed i believe and this has led to a surge in sales of stocks of tools using these batteries, however new tools using LiON or NiMh tend to have a different battery fitment,DeWalt are a prime case so if you intend buying more tools later don't buy NiCad as the odds are that when you buy more tools you will end up with different batteries so not interchangeable, also replacement batteries may become an issue in a few years.
