Discuss Dewalt Cable Stapler... DCN701 in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

I have Dewalt gear, 54 and 18 apart from anSDS. Still using a 240v Bosch. Toying with getting a bare SDS but would be interested if there would be a major difference between an 18v and 54v.

I have one and it's the mutts nuts on timber frame new builds.
What is odd however is that this thread is top of the list on my tablet but I can't even find it on my pc??.

NVM now I've posted this it's as clear as day on my P.C.

Honest opinion is that it has it's limitations.

Nowhere near as neat as hand clipping.

One clip size only, will do single T&E's up to 6mm.

Will do 2* 1mm T&E's side by side 1 clip with a bit of care.

Can clip smaller cables closer together by moving the previous cable with the gun.

If cable restraint is required then you can mange it by keeping the gun completely parallel with the joist and exerting force on the head of the gun or tapping the staple with a hammer.

I am honestly happy with it and am glad I coughed up for it. :)
