as said in the tiltle i did my am2 over last 3 days but i went over by 33 mins on my installation, does anyone know if thats a fail.
all my istallatin was elecrically sound and all test results were good, and functional test everything worked, just a bit worried about going over my time.

on fault finding i did 7 faults and went over by 7 mins
on safe isolation i had half hour spare
on testing i had about 50 mins spare
on line test i used my full allowence

any avice, anyone heard anything?

from what i remember the fualts werent to bad just need take a logical approach the 1 that threw me was the fualty light switch got it in the end tho i had 2 mins spare on my install so i cut it fine on that

When I done mine (about 4 years ago) You were allowed to take 30 or 45 mins out of your 2 hour testing time for your install. Think I went into mine by about 12 minutes and I still passed. When I was doing it they stopped anyone who ran over time, if incomplete we were told this is not a fail, it's like a minor mark (bit like the driving test I suppose). They also said you quality of work can only be judged on what you've completed not what you haven't done. So there maybe hope for you mate, although like I'm talking about 4 years ago.

Hi I have just done my second day of the exam and I think I may have failed. I used 3 core flex instead of 4 on the heating so I missed one connection with made it so the hot water did not turn on. Would this be an instant fail or would I just loose marks?
