direct online revers starter

Hi there by off chance looking for a wiring diagram for this if possible but it has also got an indicator light on it as well

A reversing DOL is like to DOL starters mate, one connects the the motor windings one way, and the rverse button starts the motor with two phases switched round, they have interlocks to stop you pressing both at once. (This only applies to 3 phase DOLs by the way).
IS the light a TRIP light or a Run light?

it is a 3 phase DOL. Its a run light required for it as well

The run light would be connected on the coil a1,a2 as when it's energised the motor is running therefore the light would come on.

Please correct me if I'm wrong last time I touched a contactor was over a year ago

Sadly, very true. I certainly wouldn’t connect across the coil.

This isn't my normal scope of works, I'm a domestic spark, apologies for bringing up an old thread and for being stupid regarding the coil

So would this indicator light be connected to the load side of the contactor or in parallel with the start button?

We are only trying to learn here, if the company won't train us it's down to ourselfs to try and figure it out

Now this is the way I would do it, others may do it different. From the control supply to a normally open contact on the contactor then the lamp. This lamp supply would be separately fused and not at 400V. Our company would not allow 400V control.
