Yes buddy ! they do both and might be on sale at mo as they have a big sale advertised i had emailed to me ! the reason i have the laptop required one is so i can take pics and vids with it as comes in handy with PIR's and you can see the pictures bigger on laptop screen also you dont have to see the lcd screen if you have your hand under a floor etc as with the other hand held one with the lcd screen but that one seems ok to. Ive used it to look down cavities, in ceilings & under floors that you can get away with most of the time just lifting the floor boards a few inches one end ! also behind kitchen units etc etc great must have time saver etc for little money.
