Why? Both if calculated and compliant are perfectly good at doing the job.
Far better in the case of metal containment than a separate CPC in the vast majority of cases in fact!!

Yeah just the way I prefer, hate to see 2 core swa .Why? Both if calculated and compliant are perfectly good at doing the job.
It's also an alternative to using a catenary wire when you install flat twin as an aerial cable.I was working in one house with a kitchen fitter and he thought the primary reason for the earth wire was to aid stripping the cable ....lol...

Plus armoureds no good for bonding.
E54 and others, myself included, have hammered this to death. My contention was that a long spindly run of steel conduit with dozens or even hundreds of joints was not as reliable long-term as a continuous copper cable, but even on that there were opposing views. I'm happy with armour if it is properly made off with decent glands. Unfortunately that rules out 90% of all armoured work I've seen...
If it's only feeding one point, same as you normally would at the DB.
If its feeding multiple, the only real way without getting parallel paths is to disconnect from each point place in a WAGO or similar and then test.
