Do I need to notify

I have a socket to move in a kitchen, which is fed via mini trunking. Do I have to notify the local council since I understand the part p has changed slightly, any advice on this matter thanks

If all you are doing is moving it, not extending the circuit, and in all other respects it is compliant, then just do it and say nowt, who's gonna know. But if it isnt compliant then bring it up to current standards, then you will need to notify because you may well have changed the circuit characteristics, and if something goes pear shaped, guess where the brown stuff will land.

Thanks I always check to make sure it's compliant. And all I'm doing is moving it. But I'm sure with part p you don't have to notify if you working in a kitchen anymore if a new circuit is not being install or changed.

Of course its a farce but the trick from the Schemies is to still get their membership fees making the member think its worthwhile as he or she have to jump through their hoops
