Hi,
I've put in a switched fused spur to supply some computer/networking kit in a metal rack (rack is earth bonded to the spur).
I was going to just screw the face plate straight in to some inclosed MDF boxing which contains Cat6/Satellite cables.
Is there any reason this needs to be but in a back box? If I'm honest this may be a pain to retro fit now. If there is a problem could I use a load of PVC tape to 'contain' the terminals on the spur?
