Right ... Just been nudged to set this up by Paul.M and sounds a good idea following recent threads I've done in the Arms..

Manager says we had a pir on one of the cottages and Sparky man says that the sub main hasn't an isolator, can you sort one out.

It's fed from here, another cottage next door.

urmmmm i think it needs a bit more than an isolator.

What's wrong?.....looks like there's been an NIC domestic installer involved, all is rosy.

I have a box of about 60 removed over the last few years, along with about the same amount of junction boxes.

Just a few screws in the bottom left corner to remove, as it doesn't look professional to leave them laying there.

I like the attention to detail to label the colour-coded wired L and N with a high contrast pen or similar. Shame they don't seem to have linked up the T&E's CPC of course!

I'm sure the terminal blocks were left like that for ventilation to keep them cool?

It is left as an exercise for the reader to decide if the supply earth or one of the cables would burn out first in the event of a fault...
