What’s even worse is the owner has been going full pelt with the solar since it was installed.

There is no way this has been done by a qualified person. Not a chance in hell.

I must have been reading the thread, and trying to work out what the installer was thinking when you edited it. Was still showing original until I refreshed page.

Do it right, nobody pays attention
do it wrong and everyone is jumping to point out your failures.
it’s not just here it is a world wide thing!!

He may as well disconnect his solar system and replace it with another DB for a better rate
