I’ve also just found there are 17 sockets spur’d off the ring at various points with at least 3 double sockets taken on each spur around the ring . With no fuse in between any.

Yes son but it all works fine, never had any problems.

Try a wader lead to as many socket screws (or test plug E pin) as you can get to without major excavation, you might just get lucky in tracking down the break and find it is at the back of a socket or FCU.

Apparently as it’s in a shed it’s not covered under any regulations.

I must admit, I haven’t read 7671 cover to cover. But I’m pretty sure that exemption doesn’t exist.

I’ve no doubt he’ll just remove the notice and carry on. But I have it all noted on the EICR so my arse is covered.
