I was unable to add a new MCB (tried CED and MK) to a Doepke consumer unit because their busbar seems to be a unique shape. photo attached. Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so, what solution worked.

After considering that correct above post.If someone were to trim the plastic from the sides of the terminal fixing screw a lot of mcbs could be made to clamp that busbar

The solution is to fit the correct mcb.

most MCBs come with the facility to fit that busbar. some you need to snip out a bitofplastic. or change the busbar to a standard "comb" type.
