Domestic CU's - who's fitting what and why?

It's been about 4 years since I last had to supply/fit a domestic board, what do people recommend these days in terms of brand bang per buck? Looking to fit a 14way SPD fully configurable as a replacement, probably leave the existing 6-7 ccts on the one RCD side as not going to be re-wiring anything, then need 4-5 SP MCB's for other sub's etc.

Surge protection devices. have just released a CU. Looks a similar to Lewden and Fusebox..
Think I'm going to one of these a try next CU I fit.
All 100 amp A type RCCBS for split loads or A type RCBOs also they mention they are working on making AFDDs so sounds promising.

Fusebox are pretty good and reasonably priced as well. I have been using them instead of Hager and have found them spacious and well constructed. Would recommend them!

What ever rcbo board I can pick up cheapest , really like the look of fusebox so they are next on my ‘to try’ list

For me I generally fit Steeple / control gear (Denmans rebadged Lewden) these days, cheap and reliable, very easy to work with and install. I pay £11.95 for RCBOS. Used to fit a lot of Hager but had issues with getting RCBOS in the suppliers at start of year so gone over to this stuff and so far so good

Funny how things changed , when I started in the 90s the company I worked for fitted only MEM boards , then I went to work a different company who pretty much exclusively used MK (had a cheap deal via on of the big national wholesalers).
then on to another company and they only supplied us with Wylex gear.

I used to get contactum gear cheap from my local TLC years ago but nobody seems to use that brand anymore

Almost only Fusebox all-RCBO boards for about the last year.

I've never found a make I'm 100% happy with - maybe I'm picky, but they never seem to quite hit the perfect spot on price, availability and features.

But the last Fusebox I fitted seemed as good as any and hard to beat on SPD boards and mini Type A RCBOs - though they aren't quite as time-tested of course.

Last job I had where I really didn't want to have to ever go back, I used Hager - but their top/bottom cutouts are a pain unless you keep enough of the various bits or always use trunking.

Ive fitted a few Eris Cu's from Yesssssss. Seem well built and good price too. I like the Fusebox stuff but supply seems a bit unreliable at the moment.

I usually fit the Fusebox RCBO boards, although I have no problems whatsoever fitting the BG dual RCD board that screwfix sell at a good price. I like them both. I do like the clamps for the incoming tails situated just above the main switch in the Fusebox boards. Especially good if it's TT, so you can bring the tails in through the back (neatly) as opposed to using a stuffing gland on one of the side entry holes.

Always full rcbo fusebox with surge protection, don’t even give customer a choice on that, unless I get short then I’ll just bang a cef live board in...

I think the Fusebox ones are a bit crap did a 20way recently and as soon as I took the lid off and screwed it to the wall it bowed out and looked like <> instead of []

I use Hager or Wylex
