Hi Guys a few questions

When you cant verify the Characteristics of primary supply overcurrent device is it a case of just putting LIM for all options?

Secondly when filling out the circuit details do you put the RCD and Main Switch as they are on the board? I usually just put the circuits in number only omitting the RCD etc but iv noticed some do? Which is best because if you do put the RCD in etc on a chint 12 way board you are looking at:

RCD
RCD
Circuit 1
Circuit 2
Circuit 3
Circuit 4
Circuit 5
Circuit 6
RCD
RCD
Circuit 7
Circuit 8
Circuit 9
Circuit 10
Circuit 11
Circuit 12
Main Switch
Main Switch

Many thanks

you don't put LIM on a EIC, you put N/V. and i do the sotr as your post but with cct. 1 next to main switch and mark the RCDs as as RCD1 and RCD2.

Main Switch is already accounted for in supply characteristics etc. Therefore I choose:
1/2 RCD1
3 Cooker
4 Spare
5/6 RCD2

If I have no idea what size the bullet is i simply put LIM - i'm hardly going to contact DNO and ask them and i'm not interested in cutting seals unnecessarily.

Tel, sorry mate, but you cant put N/V on an EIC either. It has to be verified, or the installation cant be put into use. If the inspector/tester can't verify it, then he has to make enquires and find out, a pain in the a*** but it has to be done.

The only entries allowed on any paperwork for new installations, or alterations that require an EIC are, Ticks, N/A's and written values. Its all contained in the notes for the relevant doc's in Appx 6 bgb somewhere.

Cheers...........Howard
