need a door access kit with a keypad...anybody have a preference or used a kit they would recommend?

checked TLC and there is something of interest on there but was hoping for some recommendations

Paxton stuff is very straight forward to work with and backup support is good

I have worked extensively with multiple manufactures of access equipment and "paxton" is by far the best. Its very reliable, relatively cheap and the user end experience is very simple and straight forward.

yeah i got a paxton standalone kit but as of yet not fitted it. Turns out im going to need the "optional" bracket and the PSU don't come with a battery so looks like i'll have to pick one up. And in the kit, everything came with its own individual "how to wire" scrap paper LOL

ACT do a good keypad controller one, need a separate power supply and lock though, but the keypad controller is a nice bit of kit with all the functions and inputs/outputs you might need

For simplicity go for an ACT 5 keypad if it is a single door.
