Earth bonding

Bonding across brass compression fittings was taught to me during my apprenticeships, although I admit I don't do it. The reason given was that PTFE tape is often used within the fitting, which can interrupt the continuity across the joint. Might be going a tad far!

I think so as you also have an olive touching the pipe and the fitting, but I really want to know about the push fit stuff!!!

You'd have to see if the pipework after the joint was extraneous or not I suppose!

We don't have to wait until then.

We have meters which can tell us now.

10mm earth from MET to within 600mm of service entry to building.. if both services are reasonably close together a single (uncut) cable from one clamp to the other will be adequate.!
