Hi All
A while ago I fitted 3 x lewden dinrail time clocks, I am having to go back every 6 months to change the time for GMT/BST as the customer can’t get on with the controls,
They are a bit fiddly to be fair!

Can anyone recommend a timeclock that’s easier to use preferably with the hour changing automatically?

Thanks

Sam

The E.U are stopping Summer / Winter clock changing from 2021
that will bugger me up then they do start doing that, I work continental hours .

Use a changeover switch that you can switch between timeclocks. Never have to change the timea again just switch between the 2 sets of timeclocks.

Easiest timer to programme in my opinion .
Trouble is the clock has to be moved with the daylight saving.
Other than that it is simple to use.

Anything that automatically adjusts for daylight saving time won't be easier to alter, but you could look at something like the sangamo suntracker.
Once you've set it up to tell it where in the world it is, it automatically know sunset and sunrise times and adjusts to daylight saving hours. It's really designed to eliminate the need for a photocell in the circuit, but it's one I know that auto adjusts the daylight hours.

Thanks guys.
Timers are doing outside lighting, I’ve got them mounted in consumer units in various outbuildings etc,
I won’t get away with the 1/2 hour trick with these people!
The lights come on with a Photocell then go off with the timer.
I think I’ll have a look at the Sangamo ones, they sound good.

Thanks

I’ve just been looking at the sangamo website
they do Bluetooth enabled ones, so you can set them up on your phone!
Android only tho!
