don't see many of these rich eurocrats being shafted. bloody parasites.

Similarities between modern Socialist leaders and the Green Deal?

"Both are Wolfs in Sheeps Clothing, Both claim to help the poor, Both intend to feed off the poor".

Ironically, its the poor that eventually get burnt the most in the land of Socialism "Tax and Spend".

Ive got a good idea why don't we all get into a huge political debate about socialism and the other end of the scale being a supporter of the far right tory party, I will start==Thatchers britain, the death of the trade and the beginning of the end for the working man, total bull ---- from the tory owned media which a lot of folk believe, I wouldn't ---- on a tory if he was on fire, mind you I don't like any polititians but cut the tory bullsh1t

right and wrong on both sides of the political spectrum, mike. let's not get into a political debate. politics and religion, to me it's yes, minister or life of brian.

i've worked with a fervent socialist and a dyed in the wool tory. both were bone idle tw*ts.

I've lived to learn that most politicians left, right or centre serve themselves via the rich, in preference to serving the people that elected them.
Sub contracting power from our political institutions to Europe is a mistake.
Eventually we'll get burnt and repatriate the power of our political institutions back to the UK.
All people who are derided as having extreme, non populist views will be proved correct.
It took centuries to create a parliament / democracy which may not be perfect but was respected and copied around the world.
Now we are giving our autonomy away to people, far removed from our shores.
Politicians left, right and centre dont care to give an EU referendum to the British people.
They know that British people will give it a big thumbs down and want powers returned.
David Cameron has thrown a smoke screen in front of the British people appearing to give the impression that he's all for an EU referendum, to put the brakes on UKIP.
The only time this referendum will appear is when EU sentiment is very positive in the UK and their chance of splitting the UK vote is high.
Expect announcements of large EU investments into the UK from the EU parliment, creating lots of employment to coincide with this vote, while lots of hidden back handers from the EU parliment will be made to subvert political will, pushing this through.
Money talks - the EU parliment with the largest budget can talk the loudest.

I only posted to basically suggest we don not let politics get into this thread, what was a debate about europe started to turn political regarding the parties here and socialism right or wrongly was getting a kicking, I think all politicians are dwicks and don't want the thread to get spoilt by internal bickering, especially when the talk got around to what would happen with the union and europe if the Jocks bailed out haha, so ignore the post politically views wise, it was to try to stop the views and Tel got there first well done Pal.

I heard a Frence minister say on the radio this week that the Euro countries could be "tied financially" further together and thus a new treaty won't be required - so thats another "fudge" by the EU and two fingers up to the UK.

this is from a country that wants us to change the name of waterloo station because it offends some froggies, being reminded of the battle of waterloo ( which, of course they lost ). somehow, i don't think agincourt station or collaboration station sounds appropriate.

we shouldn't be doing anything the EU tells us to do. that is why i would vote "OUT". who cares about a french farmer with 1 cow being ecomomically viable. let the bugger sell onions.

Euro Traders Report:

"Sterling grew by around half a cent against the Euro yesterday as disagreements between German and French leaders threatened stability in the core of the Eurozone.

French President Francois Hollande suggested earlier this week that the Euro is currently overvalued, and that tighter controls are needed over the exchange rate, however, German Chancellor Angela Merkel's spokesman, Steffen Seibert, rebutted the remarks and stated that historically speaking "the Euro is not overvalued at the moment". Seibert went on to declare that falsified devaluations can only give a short-term boost to competitiveness and are not worthwhile in the long-term."

Moral of this story?

"What is good for the Goose is good for the gander. Or is it?"

Does one European wide interest rate benefit totally different economies moving at completely different speeds?

Breaking News:

"European Socialist Turd", now coercing / extorting money from European citizens, to prop up putrid areas of its banking system.

Common Law Terminologies:

The following terminologies apply in common UK / European law, to all UK / European citizens, excepting (but not including) any parasitical Socialist, European governmental agencies, inhabiting a virtual coven / kabal, with European Politicians / Bankers / Business leaders et al, as its members.

Coercion - The practice of forcing another party to act in an involuntary manner, by use of threats or intimidation or some other form of force.
The threat of further harm leading to the cooperation or obedience of the person being coerced.

Extortion - A criminal offence of unlawfully obtaining money, property, or services from a person, entity, or institution through coercion.

When people steal from governments, it is called "Theft".

When governments steal from you, it is called "Tax".
