I think my sympathies have to be with the bloke who they tried to electrocute, failed, eventually died in the morgue but then decided to re-electrocute his known dead corpse just because they felt they had to.

Americans are a little strange like that.

Hey - I'm sat here trying to write a massive tender that's due in tomorrow - will you PLEASE stop distracting me with interesting diversions??!!

Slightly off topic I know but...
While on holiday in Florida a couple of years ago we went to a police museum before going we were told that it housed the chair in which Ted Bundy and many others met their end. Full of bravado I said to my wife and kids that I was going to sit in it and that I wanted a photo however when we got there I got to within about 6 feet of it and my flesh began to crawl so I bottled out.
I know, I'm a coward but it just felt wrong

Nah, us brits are a lot stranger, Oliver Cromwell died from medical problems and was given a lavish funeral and was buried at Westminster Abbey. Three years later the new monarchy had him dug up so they could have a posthumous execution and he was hung in chains. Then they chopped his head off and stuck it in a pole outside Westminster Hall, where it remained for 24 years.

Now that is seriously strange. lol.
