Does anybody have a good document containing electrical symbols or a link to some? I am doing the assessment on unit 305 on 2365 and some of the symbols are ones I can't find or haven't seen before.

do you have a pic of the unknown buggers?
[ElectriciansForums.net] Electrical Symbols - anybody have them ? [ElectriciansForums.net] Electrical Symbols - anybody have them ? no.2 looks like main or sub main switch

The X is a light.
The X in a square is an enclosed light.
The symbol that looks like a key, is a switch.
The symbol that looks like a key with 2 teeth is a double switch.
So your first picture looks like an enclosed light on a wall with 2 switches attached.

Somebody on another thread suggested it is a switched fuse connection unit with a neon ! - could be for a heater as it's in a changing room.

Possibly a locking light switch with the other solid protrusion.

Edit.
I have just enlarged you pic .
I think the bar is the design symbol .
Spin has it.

In some cases the teeth on the key, denote number of poles.
So 1 tooth is a standard light switch.
2 teeth is a double pole switch.
3 teeth is a fan isolator.

I think your picture shows a bulkhead light fitting with a double pole switch directly below it.

Hi All

I was told by my tutor the box with the cross to the right of it is actually representing the sauna and pool equipment... apparently.
This was after having a right moan I could not find out anywhere what it was!

So I was also told this will need an SWA feed on the drawing as per the Design Spec's.

I hope this helps anybody in the future, obviously doesn't help anyone else in this post.

Thanks
