trypod, my first thought was "Wow, gotta get me one of them". Then I did a bit of research. Fifty quid!
 
I'm going to ask the wife to get me one of these for Christmas but I don't think she'll let me incase I cut my hand off or something. Electricians knife for Rambo wanna be's.

Iv been on numerous sites and have never heard Stanleys being BANNED same with "Riggers are banned on sites!" What sites???

there are some people who would ban toilet paper incase someone got a papercut ffs
 
Trypod seen it but they wont ship it to the uk? H & S GONE MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I remember the days when you could get a pump up shotgun from littlewoods catalouge and others, whats going on? this has got to stop. Its not in my hand luggage or in my pocket its in a box in the cargo hold its only 3.4 inch blade. Sorry guys, ranting over. aaaaaggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh.

There are a number of sites bringing in the no stanley rule, also riggers are becoming less accepted as they do not support the ankle, this also includes safety trainers, no step ladders, no stickers on your hard hat, safety specs at all times, gloves hi vis, ear defenders, chin straps, dust masks, should be ready to do something by 10am if your RA has been approved then you can climb the safety podiums that take you half hour to set up, overstrech coz they don't reach high enough, and get questioned by the h+s officer about if your hard hat is still in date, and why you have not got a safety harness on to be three foot in the air and if you have a working at heights cert.
But getting back to it, i think the safety knives are awful.
 
That sog thing is rather tame got one of these for the bigger stuff;)
