yeah but knipex do a nice grips without teeth, perfect for glanding with out messing up the brass work otherwise a decent adjustable

The only electricians spanners that i know of, are the VDE 1000V totally insulated!! lol!! A decent set of said spanners are a tad on the expensive side for most electricians though.

Although on reflection, if they can afford 200+ quid for a bleeding designer tool bag, maybe not!! lol!!

lol so true mate hell I saw a very cheap looking all insulated VDE Hacksaw on a website for about 80 quid

be very carefull of bush spanner as they might fit some bushes but not all as they vary in size on the nut

The only thing with using grips is that it generally speaking makes a mess of the nut, but you cannot see it once the shroud in od, but that's not the point.

Try googling twin set spanners, they do different size on same spanner may be 19 ring / 17 open though and vice versa

I have a pretty good selection of totally 1000V VDE insulated tools, various pliers, umpteen screwdrivers, spanners-open and ring, etc etc. All complimentary from the various contractors i've worked with over the years. Last acquisition was an all insulated socket set 1/4'' drive 4mm through to 14mm, ratchet, long & short extension bar, fixed handle drive, and 5 hex heads that i can't remember the sizes of. At the time i think they were 270 ish quid from RS components. Always seem to be shipping tools and test equipment home at the end of a contract...lol!!

A pair of 24mm teng combi spanners for 20s glands and 20mm brass locknuts, a pair of wide jaw bahco for anything upto 32mm and then it's time to break out the big bahco adjustables or my knipex grips

easylife tools do some good kits for locknuts, lock rings and brass bushes but the one I want is always sold out, I've got some bushking bush and locknut spanners which do me for 20/25's

I have a pair of these, 1xmedium and 1xlarge, ive had them since 1998ish does all SWA glands from 1.5mm to at least 70mm
I can remember the spanner I think it was a 19mm/22mm spanner I think.

need a hammer and knocking driver for locknuts, especially on ahu panels, had one before where all the controls were in swa
