Re: EU - How will you vote given the latest "news"

I Respect the views of others, just saying I'm voting OUT. My opinion will not change. I don't expect, or want to change anyones opinion.
I'm only interested in electrical topics, sometimes I can't help posting on political issues I feel strongly about.
I almost wish we didn't have an off topic section on the forum, but we do, and for me it's a distraction at best, and at worst a chance to allienate people I need to help me.
Love and peace y'all !

Re: EU - How will you vote given the latest "news"

Well Cameron has got his deal but as they say the devil is in the detail

Will we now hear what horse trading has been done to get his "special" deal that needs a referendum asap and not in 2017, I'm very suspicious of what appears as a cut and run and what is being hidden and also the fact that the EU parliament apparently could kill the deal

AND what Cameron has verbally conceded to the French "off the record"

No doubt the French will propose something very contentious in the near future and the UK will jump to agree with them.... nothing is agreed in the UK without significant horse trading.

Every 18 days we send a further billion to the EU - so 54 days would cover the NHS deficit. YES just 54 days of EU contributions would plug the £3 billion NHS funding gap. Makes you think.

Re: EU - How will you vote given the latest "news"

How`s about this for the ultimate twist. It transpires that leaked papers after the referendum reveal that Cameron really wanted us out. He has had us all fooled with his master plan. Just thinking outside the box.

Re: EU - How will you vote given the latest "news"

Phew, just read the entire thread from the start, very interesting. I'm voting to get out, slightly worried about the whole referendum being corrupt though. But I'm not sure if the most important aspect of all this has already been mentioned in the 10 pages of posts so far- can we revert back to our sensible wiring colours ?

Re: EU - How will you vote given the latest "news"

The EU vote WILL BE A FARCE.

The EU muppets have stated that they will only formally discuss and agree the UK "concessions" AFTER the 23rd June and ONLY if we vote to stay.

WHO do they think we are? a class full of 3 year olds?

smacks of blackmail there. they're so afraid to lose our billions, they'll pull any stunt to influence a "stay in" vote.

Re: EU - How will you vote given the latest "news"

I await the billions we will lose etc etc and the rest of the crap the spin doctors will give us (like they did to keep Scotland in the UK) Folk will listen and change there vote to stay.
Lets get out is my advice but the Odds are against it.

Re: EU - How will you vote given the latest "news"

Boris like to portray himself as a "tim nice but dim". don't be fooled. he's no fool. i look forward to him becoming the next PM with us out of the EU.

I'm not convinced about the PM bit but I am totally convinced we should get out of the EU. I am fed up of people doing the UK down and making comments that we wouldn't be able to succeed on our own and wouldn't be able to enjoy some of the benefits. How do they imagine we got on before we got involved in all this EU crap?? We didn't become the greatest country on the planet with the help of the EU did we?? And before some smart-arse says we are not, why does everyone want to come here?? And another thing, if you want to know what Europe really thinks of us, just look at the voting for the next Euro-vision song contest, or more like, the Euro lets not give the UK any votes even if they do and always have had the best musicians in the world" contest.
