Hi Guys

I've just finished helping a friend do a 3 bedroom semi re-wire this week for a bit of experience! I would just like to say to all the trainees (like myself) on here who r doing the 2330 or similar who have no experience (only college) that college only teach u the basics/technical side of electrics, and that there is no substitute for experience (like all the senior/experienced members on here keep saying) cos this week as been a shock/wake up call and harder than expected!!!

It hasn't put me off becoming a sparkie just shown me i need more practice and experience:D

Now i c y the industry is changing the qualifications to include an nvq
