extra socket

hi all.new here.

im irish so im not sure if its different in englang.in london fo a while.
i want to install an extra socket for a tv.i will be tapping into another socket that has already has 2 wires in each termaina.can i hop of that or what do i do.access to the circuit below floorboards is not an optiondo i use a spur?

In my view, you are allowed one unfused spur from a socket on a ring, so it seems you can just spur off to your extra socket.

Correct, you can have one spurred socket per socket on a ring final circuit

But if you add a FCU the number of spurs can be unlimited

but if you add an FCU, fused at 13A, what's the point of adding more sockets, unless they are only used for low power appliances.

Which it is, it's for a TV as OP stated! Possibility of other home entertainment equipment too?
