Hi there girls and boy, i was just wondering what proceedures people have in place if there tester fails calibration.

My tester has failed calibration (loop value was low) and i need to make sure that the work i have been signing off has been safe, i am thinking of taking a perctentgae over the last 6 month starting with the newest first.

As i do a high volume of minor works this could take a considerable amount of time and wonder if i am over looking a simple method of ID the problem.

Have a nice weekend, if i dont here from you before.

Cheers for now BC

This is why you should do a monthy cal check

By what percentage did it fail?

I would check 1 job for each week until the results are within 5% of the new reading starting from the last job.

review your recorded results are any high?

Not sure about the percentage will have a look later, it wasnt my tester. I am a QS so when something like this happens it is me that has to sort.

I have gone on about having the monthly calibration checks before to management but to no avail.

Thank you for your prompt reasponse.
