Discuss First industrial EICR help in the Periodic Inspection Reporting & Certification area at ElectriciansForums.net

Hi,

Standard Industrial set up by the looks of things. Break it all down to smaller jobs, look after your Health and safety ( especially your Isolation procedures ); don't take any chances. Do a good job and report and look forward to those remedials. Do a Professional job and it will pay dividends.
Like I said if it looks a bit daunting break it down into smaller jobs.

Regards.
I agree, that many dis boards may look scary but just treat the sub mains as final circuits and test accordingly, then treat each individual DB as an installation. Take your time and factor in a good allowance of extra time to make up new dis board charts and labelling. Also don't forget the day you will spend messing about filling in the certificate needs to be priced in as well.

Good luck with the job, do it properly and you will learn more than you lose financially.

If you want to discuss actual figures get access to the pub as it's a bit more secure, I ain't got a clue about trying to price this type of work but quoted one on phone the other week at 27 per circuit it was about 53 circuits, didn't get the job.You have to think if I under charge can I still survive if it takes me a lot longer than I quoted and is it worth the gamble to gain experiance in this type of quotation and job.
Remedial can be profitable but the client can still put these out to other firms.
