Thank you all for your detailed responses, it's very much appreciated!

I'm planning on getting cutters, screwdrivers, and a knife in the first few weeks. Luckily the lads I work with are sharing with me (for now!), so I'm alright for a bit. Can see myself becoming a 'tool tart' myself, so you may see me around this forum more often!

As for the tea I've also been lucky with us all liking our tea the same way. And plenty of it.

See, I use these for cutting and stripping cable. Far sharper than side cutters. An the pair I have are still sharp 3 years later, after being used for all sorts they shouldn't have.

They're not insulated (well not tested), but you shouldn't be working on live conductors anyway.

Think I'll be investing in the CK Cable Cutters this week and the side cutters in the next couple of weeks then!
