Can you continuity test between the cut-off plug and the remaining wires still attached to it, or did you cut it so close, theres no flex left to strip?
Ooooh. Now that would've been a good idea...even though I did cut it right at the plug...but instead I decided to shear off the top of the plug to look inside but that was hopeless (couldn't see anything and destroyed everything in the process 🤣). Silly move on my part!!

In fact that's not just a good idea, that's an effin' brilliant idea and now I'm furious with myself for not thinking of it before I mangled the plug 🙄😡🤣
