I said I turned the power off from the fuse box???
Hi Liam. As we do not know your installation, and other DIY'ers might read this thread in the future, turning 'the power off from the fuse box', is not a conclusive way of ensuring you have carried out safe isolation. You'll need to follow the procedure, using a voltage detector.

OK update everyone:

I have wired the new pendant and it works perfectly, however, two other lights in the house now do not work (room opposite mine and toilet, next door). I have wired it the same way as before, so no idea why this is.

All 3 loops are in a WAGO and as well as the earths.

Only thing I can think of is that I used a two way wago connector to put 3 earth wires in... Would this affect it i any way?

Also whilst I order a 3 way one, can I do anything to get the other lights on and sacrifice mine as people are annoyed at me now lol.

AS A GUESS, I'D SAY THAT ONE OF THOSE REDS IN THE 3 PORT WAGO IS NOT MAKING PROPER CONTACT.

soz for the caps. was the stupid cap lock on.

and what do you feed the snakes on?

Possibly outgoing Line feed to last 2 lights not connected in the 3-way Wago, either not making proper contact as Tel says (e.g. not stripped to right depth and/or not pushed in properly), or copper in cable broken (e.g. due to too much bending).

Or similar issue with N return in respective connector.

pirate , if you have nothing constructive to say, keep 'em coming. it's what livens up the forum. :D:D:D.

I'll do my brest Tel...
even if I'm a ---...

Cos I am on holiday in the sun, the beers take over!

Ever been driving along and a beer overtakes you?

Just defrosted my fridge-freezer...where do all those crumbs come from???

Still, it's beer o'clock here, so all's well!

Love that song
"It's 5 o'clock somewhere"!

Cheers!

YESSSSSSSSSS!

Feels so good to actually do it myself haha. Thanks guys for all the help and for understanding this DIY noob, but saved me money and hassle!

It was a problem with the Neutral in the IKEA connector as SJD stated.

Once again thanks guys and happy wiring ;)

OK, sorry! I went off script!
What do you want me to do? Hang myself? I mean, we all do it sometimes...it's a forum, ffs!
Actually...not sorry at all!
Now, where's my beer...?

So now the OP goes away feeling more confident and competent to tackle other electrical changes where he probably will kill himself.

Although the advice given here wasn't step by step, it was enough for him to proceed on his own when after his comment of touched to check it was off, all he should have got from us was 'get an electrician, you don't know what you're doing and are a danger to yourself'

Yes but then I would have had to fork out a tonne on a job that can be done by a nooby DIYer. I would never do anything morr complex myself as I will leave that to the highly trained and skilled sparkies.

But not willing to spend 60 pounds on fitting a few Wagos and that when all I needed was a little direction??
