Flippin!!! joiners!

Had a joiner in doing some work and he managed to screw into the existing main earth which is a 25mm cable in a tt system. I tested it and I'm getting a Ze of 0.26 and PEFC of 9A. Should I replace the cable?

If it's damaged it needs fixing but the screw isn't the cause of the 26Ω. I don't think you can sever a 25mm² with any woodscrew known to man, but to have any impact on a real world Ra there would have to be a sliver of copper left smaller than a human hair.

stick a BS951 tag under the screw head!! Sorted ☺
