Rather than resurrect an old thread, to turn off the Beep on the Fluke MFT you need to hold the light button whilst turning on the tester, up on the screen comes "Beep off", but it does not work the Beep is still on, anyone have any insight into this, or is the Beep just turned off under certain conditions or tests?

What function are you using?

All of them, I wondered if anyone had any insights/knowledge into where the Beep is switched off to save me going through the many permutations of functions the MFT has.

Why do you ask, do you know where the Beep is switched off?

No Mate a stab in the dark thought you may be testing some thing that was still energised.
