@pete555 Yeah they have, I use the remote probe for dead testing, but they don't comply with GS38 as they are not fused - if we're going by the book

My fluke stopped zero-ing on loop test, it just needed new batteries cracking tester, had it 5 years nowI know a lot of sparks who are having problems with fluke meters! Failing to calibrate, zero readings on earth loop tests!
Back to Meggar, never had one problem with Meggar multi meters!
i think my fluke 1652C is fantastic, used it for 2 years now. the only gripes i have it 1. the fact you have to zero the leads for an earth loop test and 2. the remote probe kept giving different readings so had to bin it.
I'm sure if I'd bought 3 "piles of do do" from the same Mfr. I'd remember the model numbers to avoid the same mistake. Having said that, I'd have probably not gone past "pile of do do" #1.
Never had a problem with my 2nd hand 1652.
Has someone got a Megger franchise perchance??
