i have a fluke 1651b multifunction tester which at the moment has been fine ,although when the batteries are low it does start to play up last time it wouldnt let me null my leads i changed the battery and it was fine.
i see.i used kewtech seperate testers (continuity and IR,earthloop,and ze and rcd tester) and didnt have this problem. At least i know its not just my one then

I have had three multi testers so far and found them unreliable!
They are over priced and over rated!
I will be going back to Meggar, tried and tested!
