right. T150 has phase rotation, and a fixed probe, that means you don't need 3 hands. it's also got LEDs as well as the LCD display. wins hands down.
 
Cheers for that Tel I'm only pulling your leg.. I like taking my time over deciding, either ones going to be a good choice so I cant lose!

However... Could someone confirm for certain if the T5 1000 has a clip on the back that means you pop the probe in it when testing so that you dont need a third hand? (no offence Robo, just want to be absolutely certain... my mind seems to work by statistics!!)
 
yes it does. you can clip 1 probe in.then you have a hand free to stop the bloody thing rolling over like a dog for a belly tickle just as you want to see the reading.

Definitely confirm that, I've used my bosses. There are two clips/slots in the back of the T5 for storing the probes, one works both ways so you end up with a point sticking forward from the tester.

really useful for waking apprentices.
