Fluorescent light

I wanted to change rose light for a fluorescent, but found going into the rose are 3 twin and earth and one single line, I disconnected it before taking note.
how do I wire the florescent up,I just thought it would be a case of finding supply and switch and wire usually.
I just thought it was a case of find supply and switch and wiring as usual.
The CB supplies an intruder alarm and the lights from this is 1 twin and earth and 1 single line.

I do not know what the single red is but it just comes out at the other to lights as well.
but at one light it seems to go into the switch which is 3 pole switch for light outside

Not as easy as you thought?
You should get your bell set out and trace the cables. I hope your not in a customers house flapping up a pair of steps lol

i'll make a guess that that single red is a live feed to the outside light, and the neutral for it may come from elsewhere. if that is the case, then you really do need a sparks to sort it out. it's not a huge job. as said above, £40-£60 should cover it. a few forum members in yorkshire. sure 1 could fix it .
