To be honest, that looks reasonably tidy....compared to some out there!
At least with that method, if you need to alter a circuit or trace a particular cable in the DB, you just tug the cable your looking for and you’ll see it move at the the top...try doing that when there’s a whole packet of ty-raps been used and everything is so tight and bunched....oh and try replacing a faulty rcbo when the fly leads are also ty-rapped in bunches !

Yes I got the humour Gavin, my disagree was also done in a light hearted manner. But there are plenty out there who would be perfectly happy with what you jokingly described sadly.
