but you wouldn't want to have it and then try to win a gold medal.

if i've got the runs, i'll beat anyone to the bog.

or could they have a vomit contest. furthest chuck up wins gold.

Did a Pyro job once in a grey cable in a church ,that was specially ordered like , not sure about FP cable , I suppose you can get it in different colours because thats what you would use today in locations like this , but specially ordered of course and cost a bit too..

if I remember right, if you order enough there is no charge for whatever colour you want within reason

Is this a listed building?.... you may have to confirm your wiring methods and from experience if its exposed stone work and a cable has to run along it like in a chapel or church then bare MICC is usually the only acceptable method... shame they don't teach it anymore .... if listed don't choose the easy option without confirming you can or you may end up removing it all at your own cost!

everyone should have a go at micc, its lovely stuff to work with.

have a look on ebay for a joistripper though because there between £60-80+ new and they look the same

Made a good few ends off in tech a few months ago. Had to make off two ends for a first year exam too.
that was the one and only time i've ever done it and a couple of fella's, went bang when they energised the circuit, and they all still passed, the instructor told us it was practically obselete and didn't matter, this was 7 years ago

depending if it has to be fp200 what about hi tuff ?that comes in black.
can remember micc in black or grey sheath on a few church lighting jobs.
the problem with assuming all micc is now obsolete is the jobs already installed in micc!
there must be 1000s of km of the stuff installed in this country alone.
is it all to be ripped out because they don't teach how to install it anymore?
i think i might set my self up as an micc "specialist" and just go around making off ends for those who don't have the skills

Was told the same. "Ahh, this should be a one off, it will be very unlikley you will have to work with it nowadays" Load of crap.
