Hi all,
Im wiring a domestic property where the cu needs positioning about 15 meters from the meter. I'm going to wire using swa. I'm aware that I will have to provide a means of isolation with tails over 3 meters but must it be a switch or specifically a swicted fused isolater? The cost is gonna be a fair but more for a fused switch within a housing to make the amoured off into.

ok. really how much you recon? got any suggestions? My supplier can't get me 25mm armoured in time so has given me 35mm for the same price. downside is that it won't fit in to a kmf plus I need to make the gland of into a box. From what I've been advised so far is like £60 for a suitable switched fused isolator within a suitable surround...

Yeh that’s my thinking. I have to supply the box so can order a bigger 3 phase option to give myself a bit more room
